Traveling to Japan with Kids

Japan is rather baby-friendly where a fold down diaper changing table or a cot for diaper changing is available at most public places such as hotels, museums, family restaurants and department stores. Some have multipurpose toilets suitable for wheelchair users and also parents with small children and these often have diaper changing tables.

In Japan. young children below the age of 6 generally travels for free, unlike in Singapore where height and not age is the measurement unit for concession travel on public transport.  However, some transport companies in Japan charge children from the age of 4.
